To create the Silk Road video art, with the assistance of Masoud Taherian, we embarked on a journey of over a hundred kilometers from Isfahan towards the city of Nain. Along the way, I filmed ancient architecture, with a particular focus on caravanserais.
Initially, the video was designed as a three-channel projection, hence the three-panel format. However, due to the limitations of social and digital platforms, I was forced to combine all three panels into a single image.
Furthermore, the UNESCO Center and the Contemporary Art Museum of Isfahan provided me with a comprehensive collection of calligraphy images spanning from China to the Middle East, which I was required to integrate into the video.
